My very first DIY
Ahoj :)
I know I haven't posted in ages but I'm still trying to organize my life. School's just really stressful and I have to study a lot plus the regular change (two weeks of school followed by two weeks of an internship) is really confusing sometimes.Anyways today I want to write about the first DIY that I ever really did!
I've been planing this since December but unfortunately I didn't have the opportunity to do it...
It's a wall callendar DIY! And I'm going to explain my concept of it.
So first I took a frame (this one is IKEA...but just take any huge frame you can get; make sure there's glass or plastic infront of it) and then I took out the paper that says the name of the frame...and I sticked white paper on it. Brilliant. I know. :D
Then I started drawing the squares (I measured how big I want them to be) and made 5 lines with 7 weekdays. Sometimes, when a month begins with a Sunday (like January) you need 6 lines for each week but I just started the first line with a Sunday and it fitted into the 5 lines. (I hope you know what I mean ^^)
Then I looked up some quotes or pictures and I printed them out. I also chose a font for the "2017" on Libre Office and I printed that out aswell.
Then I took some washitape and taped the quotes to my callendar and put it into the frame ^^
Now what my concept is:
I bought some erasable pens and wrote on the plastic with them. Now I can simply wipe the calledar every month with a wet TP and voilá... there's my own DIY callendar :)
I'm not sure whether someone has already done this kind of a DIY but I haven't seen a callender like this yet ^^
Also I am working on a secret project ;) so stay tuned :D
I hope you enjoyed this blogpost and maybe it inspired you to be creative in a way...
And please comment how you've liked this post or what I could do better :)
xoxo Natally
